Sodium Enoxaparin (low molecular weight heparin) is available in the form of prefilled syringes. The product is supplied in 4 dosages (20 mg / 0.2 ml, 40 mg/ 0.4 ml, 60 mg/ 0.6 ml, and 80 mg / 0.8 ml). It serves as an anti-coagulant and it is indicated in the prophylaxis of venous thromboembolism, especially if the patients were exposed to prior orthopedic or general surgery. It is also recommended for the treatment of Deep Vein Thrombosis with or without Pulmonary Embolism.
